Abacus & Mental Math Level System Chart

A chart that outlines the stages of Abacus mathematics in the Abacomps system through
advancements in addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, and eventually the Mental Math
level portion.

• Abacus testing should be under 7 minutes and allow 3 mistakes out of 15.
• Mental Math begins at Abacus 1st Dan Addition/Subtraction Black level.
• The Make Numbers event begins at the Mental Math Red Addition/Subtraction level.
• Testing time for Mental Math may vary but the minimum score remains the same.

Achievement Chart & Stickers Display

A corresponding chart that illustrates the progression previously mentioned in the Abacus &
Mental level system chart that displays the current level of the student in their abilities.
The chart shows what is ahead through displaying of stickers.
Achievement stickers are awarded to students that pass a level testing and Star stickers are
awarded for mastery of a level with a perfect score.
