The Abacomps program is designed to help children ages 5 & up advance their skills in mathematics, general memorization and retention through software programs and Abacus mathematics to bridge the gap between the fundamentals of math to the more advanced method of mental mathematics/calculations. Watch your child’s confidence sky-rocket as they learn to solve complex arithmetic, even mentally, at speeds surpassing the use of a calculator!

The Abacomps program is designed to help children feel comfortable and confident in their math abilities. Many children develop a dislike for math due to discouraging remarks from peers or adults, leading to lasting negative feelings. Abacomps aims to support those who feel behind, helping them build skills and confidence. By fostering a positive learning experience, the program encourages children to stop fearing math and instead feel eager to improve and show their strengths.

Our in-center computer lab gives us the ability to further develop your child’s skills by our Abacomps program as students come in 2-3 days a week, or more, for in-center learning along with enrichment through homework, Learning Center games, testing and encouragement. Your child can recall long series of numbers or complex equations in their head as they begin to find the answer because of memory retention. Memory retention betters with every class as your child gains achievement stickers and you can see your child grow and better their math abilities by our Abacomps method.

Mathematics is a vital skill used throughout life, making early exposure especially beneficial. Young children absorb information effectively through repetition and hands-on experiences. Abacomps helps build a strong math foundation by engaging multiple senses—sight, hearing, and touch. Children move abacus beads to solve problems, physically feeling and hearing each step as they work toward a solution. This multi-sensory approach makes learning more interactive and memorable. By literally using their own hands, children experience math in a fun and engaging way. Abacomps shows that math can be both meaningful and enjoyable from the start.

Abacomps differs from other means of aid in that Abacomps strives to understand mathematics through its roots, its very foundation of what makes the building blocks of math i.e. addition. By understanding mathematics from beneath, there is a better digestion of the concepts and logic used in mathematics and why they are as such. An in-depth comprehension of the base foundation of math makes problem solving and number interpretation less problematic and daunting due to an expanded view of how math works and how to make it work for one’s self.
