Our abacus method revolves around how mathematics is approached, through the senses of touch, hearing and sight. These senses are heavily utilized to have a more in-depth experience and understanding of how math works. Through a combination of these 3 senses, numbers gain a physical form as they can be felt and grasped, they are audible as the numbers will resonate within the ear to the brain, and be seen visually as the answer begins to unfold and reveal itself. Abacomps provides licensing partners all the tools they would need to begin instructing their own students. Abacomps does this through providing materials to licensed partners that ingrain the fundamentals of mathematics through repetition, diligence, memory and encouragement for a clear visualization and mastery of mathematics. Our Learning Center games, extracurricular enrichment, and Abacomps method is part of the package licensed instructors gain to help others. Abacomps is aimed at benefiting children who feel like their mathematical abilities are under par, or struggle in mathematics as their peers advance. Abacomps wishes to provide the tools necessary for children to unlock their abilities in mathematics and realize that mathematics shouldn’t be feared and that their abilities are lacking. With a more hands-on approach to math, children will begin to truly see how their knowledge in math can improve and grow as they grow.

The importance of mathematics in both real-world applications and for many career paths is necessary. Abacomps teaches children arithmetic to shape their minds that mathematics is not to be feared or seen as difficult but is possible and fun. We at Abacomps wish to find and grow with others who share this same vision in helping children in the discovery of mathematics.

In many Asian countries, abacus is taught alongside martial arts for a balance of both physical and mental exercise. Martial arts schools, fine arts programs and other after school programs can all benefit from introducing Abacomps into their schedules. Home schooling or stay at home parents can also integrate our program into their curriculum and learn alongside their children. We would like to extend a hand in reaching out to other programs in hopes of introducing abacus mathematics to a wider audience with their cooperation and support.
